1. Go to the Assignment activity and click on Edit Settings .
   
   
2. Expand Grade setting.
   
   
3. Under Grading Method, select Rubric. Click on Save and Display.
   
   
   
4. A new page will open for Advanced Grading similar to image below:
   
   If you have a template available, please click on Create new grading form from a template. Otherwise, proceed to Step 5.
   
   
5. Click on Define new grading form from scratch. Provide a name for your rubric.
   
   
6. Click on Click to edit criterion to add a criteria on the Rubric.
   
   Below is a sample of 2 criteria for a 300-word essay:
   
   
7. When all criteria are complete, click on Save rubric and make it Ready.
