 Accessing advance toolbar options


  1. In any page settings on the XCLMS you can add/create an advance equation or expressions. If you see the toolbar shown below that means you can add an equation to it.
  2. To see the advance options click on the Show/hide advanced buttons icon.
  3. Below is the list of the helpful settings that can be used to create an equation.


Subscript & Superscript


Subscript & Superscript would be useful especially when creating a mathematical & equations equation. Below is a simple instruction and some tips on how to use the subscript & superscript:


  1. On the advance toolbar options choose either the subscript or superscript.
  2. Based on what you chose the text you enter would show below (subscript) or above (superscript) the word.
  3. Do not forget to click again the subscript or superscript icon to disable it and return it to normal.


Equation Editor


By default, if you want to create special equations or expressions you would need to enter a combination of characters to display it, but by using the equation editor and selecting the option you want on the list the combinations would be automatically entered and this would be a huge help when creating a mathematical & scientific equations.


Below is a simple instruction and some tips on how to use the subscript & superscript:


  1. On the advance toolbar options choose the equation editor.
  2. From here you can choose any of the options below in creating your equations:
    • Operators
    • Arrows
    • Greek symbols
    • Advanced - here on the advanced tab you can choose from template equations and you can mix & match them to your needs in creating your complex equations.
  3. You can see a preview of the equation your creating below on Equation preview.
  4. When done customizing your equation click on Save equation button.
