1. Export and Import of Question Bank from 1 to another (Teachers)
Export Test from the Course:
1. Go to Home and select the Course where you created the Test.
Click the Quiz you want to copy or export.
Select Question bank and then click the Drop-down button on the upper left of the LMS to choose Export.
Click the radio button Moodle XML format as the File format.
Under General, leave the default export category.
Then click on Export questions to file.
A prompt will appear stating, "Your export file should start to download shortly. If not, please click here."
2. Import Test/Quiz to the Course:
Go to Home and select the Course tab where you want to import the test.
Under the Course tab, choose More to view the drop-down button menu
Click on the Question bank tab and then click the drop-down button on the upper left of the LMS to choose Import.
Choose Moodle XML format as the file format.
Under Import questions from file, you can either click Choose a file or drag and drop the files into the box with the downward arrow to add the file.
On File Picker, select Upload a file, then browse for the file that you want to attach.
On the attachment, you can edit the file name and the author of the quiz you want to publish. Then click Upload this file.
Finally, click the Import button to import the file. The page will be redirected to the preview page of the quizzes that you have imported with the total number of questions. Scroll down to the last question, then click Continue.
Go back to the Course Page, then turn on Edit mode on the upper right side of the screen.Click Add an activity or resource on the Question Bank.
In the pop-up box choose the Quiz icon.
The page will be redirected to the Adding a new Quiz for the Subject.
Edit the name and description of the quiz. You can set the timer of the quiz through Timing. Set the grade, layout, question behavior, and appearance, which we can leave as is.
You can also choose the review options as shown in the image below. Continue to configure the quiz based on your customization.
Then click Save and Return to the Course or Save and Display.
On your created quiz, click Add questions. You will be redirected to a new page.
Click the Add button on the right side of the screen. Choose the + from question bank.
Select the category where you saved the imported questions. View the image below for reference. Then select all the questions you want to add to the quiz.
Then click the button Add selected questions to the quiz.
Adjust the maximum grade on the right side of the screen based on the total number of questions. Then save.
To check if the created quiz is correct, click the Preview Quiz
